After years of working as a physician in the traditional healthcare system, Mahir began asking himself a critical question: <\/span>Why do we wait until people become sick before we start helping them?<\/em><\/p>\n

Again and again, he witnessed the same pattern. People arriving too late. Preventive care was almost non-existent, and there was even less space for truly individualized advice on how to stay healthy and make lasting lifestyle changes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Together with Sara, whose background in biomedical laboratory science and health tech complemented his clinical experience, he defined a clear mission: to bridge the gap between the healthcare system and the individual.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 2019, they founded NEM to give more people the ability to understand their health before<\/em> it deteriorates. Shifting the focus from treating disease to preventing it altogether.<\/p>\n

Fueled by their passion for longevity, they embarked on a journey to challenge the very foundations of the healthcare industry and to create a catalyst for meaningful, lasting change.<\/p>\n
